1999 JIAOTONG STUDENTS ARE HERE AFTER THEY WIN THE CHINA EMBASSY SCHOLARSHIP
Two students from the batch 1999, Pragati Sherchan and Prabindra Maharjan, won the scholarship from the China Embassy in Nepal and are doing their masters degree here in XiĄŻan Jiaotong University. Also other seven students from this university have won various scholarships in many government universities in China. Asmit Anand Thakur (2001) from Nepal and Usman (2001) from Pakistan have won the brilliant studentsĄŻ scholarship given by XJTU. DASHAIN CELEBRATION BEGINS
The Nepalese students of XJTU are preparing to celebrate the biggest festival of Nepal aboard from home among friends. About three weeks to go from now, the various sports which used to be held as in previous years, this year also students are indulging themselves in games like football, volleyball, basketball and so on. On 2nd of October, the musical night will be held where some dances and songs will be presented among many Chinese and Pakistani friends.

BATCH 2000 ACHIEVES ANOTHER SUCCESS IN NMC
Out of 54 students who appeared for the NMC exam this year, 53 have passed. Also all the post-graduated students passed the NMC exam on the very first exam. So, we express our delight and congratulate them for this glorious achievement.

 

CLASSES START FROM 28TH OF AUGUST

The new semester begins from the date mentioned above. With more than 100 Pakistani students enrolled for the year 2007, the university is stricter than ever. It takes no time in expelling the students who are academically weak and bunks classes. There are also certain rules of the university which if found to be broken the students will be sent back home.
LetĄŻs hope the new session brings forth the new hope, energy and stamina to excel. The holiday must have rejuvenated the students as usual for at least two weeks.

GRADE 2002 HEADS NEPAL FOR PRE-INTERNSHIP
On July 23rd all the Nepali students from 2002 took a flight to Nepal to do the pre-internship.
One additional certificate they have is a Ą°provisional certificateĄ± which may allow them to do the internship. If NMC accepts the presented certificate, then that will save a year of the Xian students.

 

GRAND GRADUATION CEREMONY HELD AT XIAN JIAOTONG UNIVERSITY
In order to commemorate the day of graduation of 2001 grade, a grand ceremony was held at the XiĄŻan Jiaotong University (main building).
There were distinguished guests: honorable Suresh Pradhan, a Nepali ambassador and honorable Mohammad Mohasin, a Pakistani ambassador in China.

 

NEW RULES IN XIĄŻAN JIAOTONG UNIVERSITY
The decision to expel the new students of 2006 who havenĄŻt passed HSK has brought panic to the concerned students. It is thus informed to all the students interested in joining this university to take Chinese language seriously and pass it before the medical course begins.

 

HOLIDAY BEGINS
All the exams were finished by 15th of July and most of the students were busy calling the agencies to book the plane tickets, shopping and the final year students were hugging each other and with the junior students saying good-bye to each other. Some students are still in China enjoying sports like football and swimming and some utilizing their time studying books.
